{My DIY Glittery Christmas Trees}

With Christmas around the corner, I can finally post this DIY project–a DIY Christmas tree craft–to share! I made this lovely holiday trio with a pair of my friends a while back. We each made a set of three to prominently display in our homes year after year!

Want to print the free Christmas subway art printable made by the girls at Eighteen25? You can download it here! Now I have the glittery DIY Christmas trees, the festive printable and white frame…then once the house is done, I’ll have the mantle and {I’ll have to get the} little plants to go with it! I so look forward to beginning new holiday traditions in our new house in 2015! In the meantime, here’s to a Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas in 2014!!!

P.S. Interested in how we achieved the brush-stroked paint technique shown on my blue wall above? We used the Dragging Paint Technique illustrated in the Valspar paint technique brochure in Lowe’s or on Lowes.com. Then we painted the base coat on the other three walls of our family room so that the wall with the glaze dragging technique was the focal wall. Voila!
